Q Using the reference you chose in Week 5-1, write a Reaction (or Reflection) Paper in APA style, giving your thoughts on the topic in the paper. General guidelines for a Reaction/Reflection Paper can be found here, from the module in Week 1-2. I will be following the Rubric for a Reflective (or Reflection) Paper, with the exception of not including proofreading by others in the grading mix. Still, I highly encourage you to have your papers proofread. Information on the Interdisciplinary Literacy Center (ILC) can be found hereLinks to an external site.. They provide the appropriate services to help you with your writing and much more. They are located in the Communications Building, next to the Lesher Building where Student Services is located, and across from the Science Building. You can find an APA Template for Microsoft Word in the Announcements page. In keeping with the rubric mentioned above, I would expect you "to investigate an idea, evaluate evidence, expound on the idea, and set forth an argument concerning that idea in a clear and concise manner". Feel free to express yourself creatively, including personal experiences that illustrate your understanding of the topic. This paper is worth 70 points and is due Sunday night. Do your best, and good luck! For those of you still having trouble with the APA Style format, the following page is probably one of the best resources: Purdue Writing Lab - APA Formatting and Style Guide. An APA Sample paper can be found here.
